Our resort does not have Wi-Fi.
We do not allow any pets. No exceptions. This includes any visitors.
Any violation of this policy can result in eviction without refund, cleaning fee, or both.
Accepted forms of payment are check or cash only. We do not accept credit/debit cards.
Payment is preferred at check in.
One nights’ deposit is required to hold your reservation. Taxes are not included in this deposit.
If reservation is made over the phone or by email, deposit is required within two weeks of making the reservation. After that, your reservation will no longer be held.
If reservation is made in person, deposit is required at that time.
For reservations made 4 months or more in advance, you have 3 months from the date the reservation was made to change or cancel your reservation for a refund. Any changes or cancellations within 2 weeks of arrival date will require payment for any nights not rented, and/or loss of deposit.
For reservations made less than 4 months in advance, you have up to two weeks prior to your arrival to change or cancel your reservation for a refund. Any changes or cancellations made within two weeks of arrival date are not eligible for refunds.
Reservations made for the next calendar year are subject to rate change without notice. Rates are subject to change without notice regardless of when reservation was made.
Maximum Guests per Cabin
Cabin maximum occupancy is set at 4 or 6 total people, including all children. This is due to the local fire code and for all guests’ safety. No exceptions.
There is a 4-adult maximum per cabin.
Cabins 2 & 12 have a 4-person maximum, including all children.
If you have friends or family in the area who are not staying at Castle Haven, we understand you may have them visit you at our resort. If you do, please do not let this time exceed 3 hours and should not be a daily occurrence. Your visitors should not, at any time, have pets with them.
This does not allow for large group visits or gatherings.
What is a light-housekeeping cabin?
Our cabins are light housekeeping cabins, which means there is not a daily housekeeping service. You are responsible for leaving the cabin in the condition in which it was found, with the exception of linens. We do not change bedding and linens during your stay, unless you are staying longer than 1 week.
Responsibilities of guests for housekeeping cabins: Cleaning all dishes and putting them away; shaking rugs; sweeping the floor; wiping off counters, surfaces, etc.; cleaning up any spills or messes that may have occurred during your stay.
All cabins have gas fireplaces. We ask that you do not remove any glass, move logs, or in any way adjust anything with the operation of the fireplaces. Everything is set per manufacturer instructions for optimal use. This is for the safety of our guests, housekeeping and maintenance. Fireplaces are inspected upon every departure. Any alterations will result in a $250 service charge.
